The best day of my life...

...is yet to come.

Though I am fairly certain that it will happen on or around the first week of January, 2009.

Yes, I have a child, and yes, his birth was pretty cool. And until recently, I thought his birth was the best day of my life. But now that I know what I know, I can honestly say, that it takes a very close second. Ok distant second.

Dude. Scrubs is coming back! NBC cancelled it last year. I cried. Profusely. But then, just a few days ago I saw the lovable, but dorky, J.D. on t.v. whilst watching some other program on ABC. I cried again. This time the tears were of pure joy.

One might call me t.v. obsessed. Or possibly just Scrubs obsessed. Or maybe just Zach Braff obsessed. Either way, you could call me obsessed.

Who isn't? J.D. isn't his only staring role. Who could forget Chicken Little? And lets not forget the insightful Garden State? I am going to marry him when I grow up.

Needless to say, I'm slightly in love with Zach. But that is is beside the point. If you've seen Scrubs, you KNOW how awesome a show this is. Clearly worthy of taking the best day of my life spot over my child's birth. Who could forget J.D.'s porch? Or The Janitor's Brain Trust? Carla's musical rendition about being Dominican? Eliot's car door being knocked off the day she bought it? Or Dr. Cox's soft side when his little girl went through heart surgery? Or Kelso's endless muffin win? Or Turk's replacement dog? And so, so, so, many more.

I thought my television life was essentially over. Lost has become confusing. Heroes has become odd. Law and Order has become predictable (crime, solve crime, prosecute crime, put criminal in jail...). Scrubs was cancelled.

But now I have hope.
